The impact of the Corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) is not
only detrimental to the health side. The virus that originated in Wuhan City,
China, has even affected the economies of countries around the world, including
Indonesia.
On Saturday, May 16th 2020, SPE Unhas SC through
SPE Care: Care Deeply Share Freely took responsive actions and worked
hand-in-hand to conduct social services for the underprivileged and affected
people of Covid-19. In the month of Ramadhan yesterday, we provided support to
the medical staff at the Covid-19 checkpoint in the form of hand washing soap,
also to the underprivileged people in the form of Breaking Fast Food Packages.
This food package is distributed to underprivileged people spread across
several cities, namely Makassar, Pinrang, Bulukumba and Palopo regency.
In the process, the distribution of food also follows the
PSBB rules set by the city government. The activity was only held for 2 hours
with attention to a distance of 1 meter if there was a queue buildup.
This activity is part of a series of
social project of SPE Unhas SC in other forms to adjust to the current
pandemic. It is hoped that this activity can create a mutual cooperation and
help others
